Dr. Walker is a physician-scientist, the founding and current Institute Director of the Ragon Institute of Mass General Brigham, MIT and Harvard, and a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator. His laboratory studies T cell immune responses to chronic viral infections, using HIV as a model system.

Dr Jillian Lau is an Infectious Diseases physician based in Melbourne, Victoria. She works clinically at Alfred Health and Monash Health and is a postdoctoral research fellow at The Doherty Institute. Her research focuses on HIV cure therapeutic interventions, and the practice of interrupting antiretroviral therapy in HIV cure trials (known as analytical treatment interruptions).

Rachel Rutishauser, MD, PhD is an Infectious Disease physician-scientist and Associate Professor in the Division of Experimental Medicine at the University of California, San Francisco. The Rutishauser laboratory studies immunologic mechanisms of HIV control.

Dr Hearps is Co-Director of the Disease Elimination Program and Head of the Infection, Inflammation and Innate Immunity laboratory the Burnet Institute. Her research focuses on the pathogenesis and clinical manifestations of HIV, with a particular focus on innate immune cells, and implications for chronic diseases including cardiovascular disease.

Mao Gomez is the Peer Services Coordinator at Queensland Positive People, leading Peer Navigation, community engagement, and peer-led programs for people living with HIV across Queensland. With a background in HIV testing, peer support, and AOD prevention, Mao works to strengthen peer-led service delivery through trauma-informed, community-centred approaches. His work focuses on improving health outcomes, building meaningful community connections, and ensuring lived experience remains central to program development, service design, and systems advocacy within the HIV sector.

Jared Stern has a background in HIV reservoir biology and proviral sequencing techniques, having found that circadian rhythms and acute stress affect HIV transcriptional activity. They have been living with HIV for over 10 years and are passionate about scientific communication and community engagement.
