Biography
Baani Bagga is a PhD candidate at the Westmead Institute for Medical Research (WIMR) and the University of Sydney. Their research focuses on developing novel immunotherapeutic strategies to eradicate HIV, particularly using CD8 CAR T cells to target and eliminate persistent viral reservoirs.

Biography
Gabriel Duette is a Research Fellow at the University of Sydney and Westmead Institute for Medical Research. His research focuses on HIV persistence and immune control, with the goal of developing curative strategies. He combines molecular virology and immunology to study the HIV reservoir and develop CD8 T cell–based therapies.
