Sue is an Endorsed midwife, RN and Lactation Consultant who has lived and worked in Central Australia since 1995. She works at the Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs, providing primary health care, sexual, reproductive and child health and as a midwife and relieving Lactation Consultant at Alice Springs Hospital She has worked closely with parents of many backgrounds and recently with clients experiencing challenges with decision making around feeding their babies in the context of HTLV-1.

Dr Kate Lloyd is the Lead GP at Congress Alukura Women’s Health Service in Alice Springs. She works with women across the whole lifespan of sexual and reproductive health. Alukura has a strong midwifery led maternity care programme and Alukura GP team also provides medical support to this programme.

Professor Emeritus the University of Tokyo, currently Professor, the Department of Hematology/Oncology, St Marianna University. The President of Japanese Association of HTLV-1 and associated Diseases (JSHAD), Past President of International Retrovirology Association (IRVA). The Chairperson of the HTLV-1 Countermeasures Promotion Council, Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare since 2011.
