This interactive, skills- and solutions-focused workshop will explore the evolving role of nurses and midwives in strengthening HIV, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) responses across Australasia. Through a combination of short “deep dive” presentations, panel discussion, and facilitated breakout conversations, participants will hear practical examples of nurses working to full scope, leading innovative nurse-driven models of care, and influencing policy and systems change across HIV and SRH settings. The workshop will be highly interactive and grounded in real-world practice, the workshop will provide attendees with opportunities to share challenges, explore practical solutions, and identify collective priorities for the future nursing and midwifery workforce.
