Biography

David J. Carter is Scientia Associate Professor in the Faculty of Law & Justice, UNSW. He is the research lead of Health+Law, which aims to improve the legal environment surrounding HIV and hepatitis B in Australia. David is an Australian lawyer and a board member of the HIV/AIDS Legal Centre.

Biography

Brooke is the former Head of Policy, Advocacy, and Science at Burnett Foundation Aotearoa (formerly the New Zealand AIDS Foundation). She has just submitted her PhD on HIV in the Philippines through the Australian Research Centre on Sex, Health and Society at La Trobe University, and now works to support the other positive peer support organisations in Aotearoa New Zealand. Rodrigo works as Head of Services and Outreach at Burnett Foundation Aotearoa, and is the Board Chair for GNP+. Together, their work advocates for health-promoting, evidence-informed policies, programmes, and support services.

Biography

Rodrigo Olin German is an HIV advocate, health promoter, peer educator and facilitator. His academic and professional background is in economics and public health; he has worked in the HIV sector for over 15 years. He has tirelessly dedicated himself to promote and uphold the rights of people living with HIV and debunk HIV stigma and discrimination. Rodrigo has been living with HIV since 2003. He is Head of Services and Outreach at Burnett Foundation Aotearoa and Chair of the Board at the Global Network of People living with HIV, GNP+.
