Michael is an epidemiologist and post-doctoral researcher at the Burnet Institute. His research focuses on HIV and STI prevention among gay and bisexual men and other priority populations.

Biography
Lucia is Senior Research Fellow and lead of the Global Health Trials Research Group at the Kirby Institute, UNSW. She has over 15 years’ experience in research focused on infectious diseases in Asia-Pacific, including clinical trials and observational studies for neglected tropical diseases and sexually transmitted infections in resource-poor settings.

Biography
Brendan's academic and public service career spans nearly two decades. His work has focused mainly on the epidemiology of sexually tranmissible infections and blood-borne viruses, in addition to alcohol and drug use and associated harms. He is passionate about undertaking translational research to inform evidence-based policy and practice.

Trends in gonorrhoea testing and incidence among gay and bisexual men in Australia during PrEP implementation: an analysis of a decade of surveillance data (2012–2023)
Biography
Hein is a PhD student at the university of Melbourne and Burnet Institute, conducting a research project focusing on oropharyngeal gonorrhoea and antimicrobial resistance among heterosexual population. He completed a medical degree in Myanmar and has worked in non-governmental organisations for 4 years, providing sexual and reproductive healthcare services.
