Biography

Mina John is a Clinical Immunologist and Immunopathologist with the Department of Immunology at Royal Perth Hospital, which provides a large ambulatory, inpatient and community outreach HIV care service for WA. She also supervises the HIV diagnostics and drug resistance laboratory for PathWest and has research appointments with Murdoch University and the University of WA. Her main research interests are HIV immunology and therapeutics.

Biography

Professor Don Smith MD, FAChSHM, FRCP (London), is a Senior Staff Specialist at the Albion Centre. He has been clinically managing HIV infected patients for over 30 years, a principal investigator or co-investigator in over 30 clinical trials and an author on more than 100 papers relating to HIV management.
