Dr Nicholas Medland was a clinical epidemiologist at the Kirby Institute at UNSW Sydney and a former President of ASHM. A gifted, passionate and effective leader, Nick played a pivotal role in shaping HIV and sexual health clinical and public health practice. He died unexpectedly earlier this year.
A special event is being held to commemorate and celebrate the life and achievements of Dr Nick Medland at the ASHM HIV Conference. Co-hosted by the Kirby Institute and ASHM, we will hear from some of Dr Medland’s close colleagues and friends about his significant contributions to clinical and public health in Australia and overseas. Please join us as we gather in memory of an extraordinary researcher, clinician, and collaborator. Drinks and canapes will follow.
