Lisa is a senior social worker with over 15 years’ experience supporting PLHIV in health and community settings. Lisa’s research interests are concerned with bridging the gap between academic knowledge and its practical application in community and service settings. Lisa currently holds the position of Life+ Program Manager at QPP.

1998 I began working with PLHIV within primary and tertiary care settings. Twenty six years of my working life has been studying, working with and caring for PLHIV. My Masters degree: PLHIV residing in long term residential care; my PhD explored older PLHIV considering transition to aged care.

Loretta has been the Senior Counsellor at RPA Sexual Health for many years. She committed to ensuring that individuals diagnosed with HIV have access to psychosocial services. Loretta has an interest in research and has let a number of research projects within the sexual health service.

Dr Thomas Norman is a Research Fellow at La Trobe University’s Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, specialising in public health. He currently works on several large projects funded by the Australian Government’s Department of Health and Aged Care.
