Brenda Shayeb is a Health Educator at ARDS Aboriginal Corporation, dedicated to developing culturally safe and meaningful health resources in Yolŋu Matha for North-East Arnhem Land. With over 10 years of experience in rural and remote NT, she is passionate about improving health literacy and fostering two-way learning between patients and clinicians.

Paul van Polanen is the Sexual Health Coordinator at Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation in North-East Arnhem Land. With over 12 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in rural and remote Northern Territory, he focuses on reducing STIs by improving sexual health literacy and increasing community screening efforts.

Roisin is a registered nurse and the Sexual Health Program Coordinator for Central Australian Aboriginal Congress in Alice Springs. She has worked across rural, remote and urban settings in sexual health for the last 15 years, most recently in rural and remote Northern Territory for Congress, the Ngaanyatjarra Lands in remote WA and previously in NSW and QLD in urban settings.
She is a passionate ally and strong advocate for universal, equitable access to sexual reproductive health services, education and empowering individuals to make informed choices about their health on their own terms.
Roisin lives in Alice Springs with her husband Jason and their very spoiled pooches Odin and Freya

Micheala Mills is a proud Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander woman who was raised in Humpty Doo, NT before relocating to Katherine, NT in 2018 where she first began her career in health at Wurli-Wurlinjang Health Service. Starting as a receptionist in the clinic, Micheala joined the Australian Family Partnership Program as a participant when she started her family, during this time she also began working for the program as an administrative assistant.
Micheala holds a Certificate III in Business, Certificate IV in Community Services and is currently studying a Diploma in Leadership and Management. Micheala aims to further her skills and knowledge in Aboriginal women's health leadership, as she is passionate about advocating for better health care for her people and strives to improve health outcomes in her community.
As a mother to 2 beautiful girls, Micheala thrives in her role as a Family Partnership Worker (FPW) where she gets to build relationships with the women in her community and help support them through their pregnancy and motherhood journey’s, as well as empowering them to build on their strengths and gain knowledge in all walks of life.

Hi, my name is Patricia Gibson, my skin name is Njawakadj and I am from Maningrida community. My clan group is Kardbum and my language is Kuningku. I work as a community worker for our local clinic at Mala’la Health Services Aboriginal Corporation. I feel that Women’s health is very important for every woman, to keep our young mothers and young girls healthy.
Through my work it enables me to support and advocate the importance of Women’s health check-up in my community.
