Nesreen Bottriell is the CEO at the Australian Muslim Women’s Centre for Human Rights, an organisation dedicated to addressing gender inequality and advocating for the rights of Muslim women in Australia. Nesreen also sits as a Board director on the Islamophobia Register of Australia and Respect Victoria.

Ani Lamont is a GBV prevention specialist with 12 years’ experience in Australia and internationally, working across research, policy and program design. Currently with the eSafety Commission, leading their Preventing Tech-based Abuse of Women Grants Program – a world first innovation grant piloting and building the evidence-base on what works to prevent technology-facilitated gender-based violence. Ani previously worked in Australia for Our Watch and the Equality Institute. Prior to that, Ani worked overseas on the Global What Works to Prevent Violence against Women Program, the United Nations’ Partners for Prevention and the Nike Foundation’s Girl Effect program.

Professor Quilter’s research on sexual assault law, reform and practice commenced more than more than 25 years ago. She currently leads the ARC Discovery Project ‘Intoxication Evidence in Rape Trials: A Double-Edged Sword?’ and has recently completed commissioned reports in Victoria and NSW on the operation of sexual offence trials.
