Michael Roche is a research fellow in the Department of Infectious Diseases at the University of Melbourne and the Doherty Institute for Infection and Immunity. His focus is on understanding the HIV reservoir that persists during antiretroviral therapy, with a particular interest in designing therapies to eliminate infected cells.

Marti Kaiser is a registered nurse with a Masters of Public Health. She has worked at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre as research nurse in mycoplasma genitalium, bacterial vaginosis and rectal chlamydia. Marti has been coordinating HIV cure research at Alfred Health, Victoria, since 2022.

Kazuo Suzuki is working at State Reference Laboratory, for HIV St Vincent's Hospital at Applied Medical Research (AMR). He has been working in the hospital more than 25 years for development of HIV-1 clinal analysis diagnostic field.

The presenter is a PhD student with the Immunovirology and Pathogenesis Program at the Kirby Institute, University of New South Wales. Her research involves using RNA therapeutics to achieve a functional HIV cure.
