Dr Aung is a medical doctor from Myanmar. He is a Research Associate at Kirby Institute supporting a national sentinel surveillance system, known as ACCESS as a coordinator and data analyst. His research interests are evaluating public health policies and interventions using administrative linked datasets and surveillance data.

Dr Richard Gray is an Associate Professor in the Surveillance, Evaluation and Research Program at the Kirby Institute. His research uses mathematical modeling to investigate the transmission of infectious diseases and the potential impact of interventions. Richard is responsible for producing annual estimates of Australia’s HIV cascade for national surveillance.
