Professor Christy Newman is a non-binary person and parent, sociologist of LGBTQIA+ health at the Centre for Social Research in Health, and Deputy Dean Research in UNSW Arts, Design & Architecture. They get excited a lot, but especially about the dismantling of cisgenderism in our health, education and cultural sectors.

Biography
Teddy Cook is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the Kirby Institute UNSW and a queer man of trans experience consulting independently. He is a health promotion specialist, community development champion, LGBTQ+ inclusion and trans-affirming practice specialist advisor, with expertise in LGBTQ+ health, data collection, trans health policy, priorities and particularly trans health and liberation. From 2019-2022, Teddy served on the Board of the Australian Professional Association for Trans Health, including as Vice President.

Biography
Loc Nguyen (they/them) specialises in the public health sector with a focus on LGBTQ+ health, HIV, and sexual health, particularly for multicultural communities and those living in Greater Western Sydney. They are passionate about addressing stigma and discrimination, including structural racism, queerphobia, and transphobia, in health policies, programs, and services.

Biography
Dr Mel Kelly is a staff specialist in Infectious Diseases and Sexual Health Medicine at The Albion Centre and the Prince of Wales Hospital. She is the medical lead for the t150 transgender health service. Her clinical and research interests include HIV, Viral hepatitis, transgender health and the provision of optimal healthcare to the LGBTQ community, especially those who find mainstream health services challenging.
