Tanya is a Senior Lecturer within Surveillance Evaluation and Research Program at the Kirby Institute, UNSW Sydney, a Scientific Manager of the RAPID (Research for Asia Pacific Infectious Disease) Diagnostics Centre and a Co-Director of an ARC Industry Transformation Research Hub to combat antimicrobial resistance.

Dr Tickner is Supervising Scientist in Public Health, Pathology Queensland, and Adjunct Research Fellow for The University of Queensland, whose work focuses on development of new molecular detection tools for infectious diseases. As part of the AMR Hub, he is developing the next generation of STI antimicrobial resistance diagnostic tools.

Associate Professor Fabian Kong is a pharmacist and sexual health epidemiologist currently working to optimise treatments for STIs, particularly for oral gonorrhoea using drug pharmacokinetics. He is also leading the development of the world's first oral human tissue model of oral gonorrhoea infection to screen emerging treatments to treat oral gonorrhoea.

Dr. Qinglu Cheng is a Research Fellow in Health Economics at the Kirby Institute, UNSW. She has extensive experience conducting economic evaluations using decision analytic models. Her current work includes estimating the economic burden of illness for Mycoplasma genitalium and evaluating the cost-effectiveness of resistance-guided therapy for gonorrhoea.

Dr Shiva Chandra is a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the Sydney Centre for Healthy Societies at the University of Sydney. His research interests include health, sexuality, gender, race, digital media, and youth. More specifically, Shiva’s work examines the social dimensions of wellbeing, including both offline and online spaces.

Professor Catriona Bradshaw is a clinician researcher and Head of Research Translation and Mentorship and The Genital Microbiota and Mycoplasma Group at Melbourne Sexual Health Centre, Central Clinical School, Monash University and Alfred Hospital. Her programme focuses on translational research to improve treatment & control of Mycoplasma genitalium.

Biography
Virginia has researched and published widely in the fields of health economics and health systems, primarily in low- and middle-income countries. She is Professor of Health Economics and Health Systems at the Kirby Institute (Faculty of Medicine, UNSW) and at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (Department of Global Health and Development). She leads a new NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in the Economics and Infectious Diseases. Her research focuses on: (1) impact evaluations of complex public health interventions in the areas of malaria, HIV and STIs, TB, Hepatitis C and antimicrobial resistance; and (2) the evaluation of health financing systems to support universal health coverage. She is co-Editor-in-Chief of Health Policy and Planning and President-Elect of the International Health Economics Association. Virginia is committed to helping build capacity in health economics especially in the low and middle income countries where she works.

Currently GARDP Access Development Lead supporting product introduction in low- and middle-income countries.
