Dash Heath-Paynter is the CEO of Health Equity Matter. Health Equity Matters leads Australia’s community-controlled response to HIV as the sector’s peak body. The organisation delivers programming to build the capacity of its member organisations across Australia and implementing partners in Asia and the Pacific to support efforts to meet local and international targets to virtually eliminate HIV transmission.

Cherie Bennett is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Medical Educator specializing in HIV, Sexual Health, and Viral Hepatitis. She also manages the Cooper HIV/AIDS Research Training Program at the Kirby Institute and holds sessional academic roles at the University of Wollongong and University of New South Wales. Previously, she was the state-wide HIV Clinical Nurse Consultant for the NSW Ministry of Health.

Jessica Michaels is the Deputy CEO at ASHM. Jessicas work at ASHM includes overseeing the implementation of HIV, sexual health, hepatitis C and hepatitis B workforce development, capacity building, resources, strategies and policies across Australia. Jessica has worked in the BBV and sexual health sector for over 15 years, managing a variety of government and non-government education, clinical and health promotion programs in Australia, South Africa, the UK, Papua New Guinea and Singapore.
