Dr Lenka Vodstrcil is a Senior Research Fellow and epidemiologist with a focus on sexual and reproductive health at the Melbourne Sexual Health Centre-Central Clinical School, Monash University. Her research program focuses on characterising the composition of the vaginal microbiome, improving treatment outcomes for bacterial vaginosis and other STIs, and promoting antimicrobial stewardship.

Craig Cohen, MD, MPH, is a Professor in the UCSF Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. He conducts clinical research in two major areas: HIV/AIDS care and support in developing countries and HIV and STI prevention including the development of live biotherapeutic products to prevent recurrent bacterial vaginosis and HIV acquisition in women.

Nuno Cerca is a Research Professor and currently the director of the Centre of Biological Engineering at the University of Minho, Portugal. He was a Fulbright fellow at Harvard Medical School and a post-doctoral fellow at Virginia Commonwealth University (USA). His research focus are on pathogenic bacterial biofilms.

Dr. Mitchell is faculty at the Vincent Center for Reproductive Biology and an Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. She sees patients with complex vulvovaginal disorders, and recurrent vaginal infections at Massachusetts General Hospital, where she also runs a vaginal microbiome translational research program.
