Biography

Sam Sperring is a researcher at the Translational Health Research Institute, University of Western Sydney. Here she wrote her dissertation on the cancer experiences of LGBQ women. She is a sessional academic at the University of Technology, Sydney where she teaches in the areas of gender and cultural studies.

Dr Sonja Ellis is Associate Professor of Human Development at the University of Waikato, New Zealand. Over a career of more than 20 years, Sonja has published widely in the field of LGBTIQ+ Psychology. She is lead author of the textbook LGBTIQ Psychology: An introduction.
