This workshop will discuss pushback faced by LGBTIQ+ health personnel. Case studies will illustrate the profound impact of pushback on services and their staff. The workshop will explore effective responses, as well as opportunities for sector-wide support, emphasising the importance of unity, collaboration, and sharing successful strategies to collectively combat challenges. Techniques for engaging with far-right opposition through fact-based communication and community support will be explored. Through panel & group discussions, participants will gain practical skills and insights that they can implement in their professional roles, including self-care strategies to avoid burnout.
