Biography

Dr. Svetlana Doltu is a Moldovan public health expert and Director of NGO AFI, specializing in prison health, TB, HIV and harm reduction. She has led penitentiary health services and now advises WHO, UNODC, UNAIDS, the Global Fund and the Council of Europe on right to health and human rights in closed settings.

Olivia is a Doctoral Candidate in Epidemiology at the University of Ottawa, focused on Harm Reduction in incarcerated populations. Olivia previously worked as an infectious epidemiologist with Correctional Services Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, WHO, and UNAIDS.
