Behzad is a clinical epidemiologist, and an Associate professor in the Kirby Institute (UNSW). He trained as a Medical Practitioner and has a PhD in Medicine. His main areas of research include epidemiology and clinical management of viral hepatitis.

The ultimate goal of her research is to support the development of evidence-based policies to improve population health.

Winnie is the Program Manager for Hepatitis Queensland, responsible for managing the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of key programs to strengthen viral hepatitis services across Queensland. Her passion for promoting meaningful conversations, driving action, and bringing about positive change is evident in her work, which spans over fourteen years across the not-for-profit, primary care, and public domain. Winnie is deeply committed to harnessing the workforce and cultivating genuine partnerships to develop opportunities and innovative projects that will create positive social change for people living with or at risk of viral hepatitis.

Tracey is currently the Programs Manager for Population Health for the Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network and oversees hepatitis programs and harm reduction in the NSW Custodial system. Tracey has over twenty years’ experience as a manager of services who work with people who use drugs and at risk young people. One of her major achievements was being part of the initial team to set up the Medically Supervised Injecting Centre in Sydney. She holds a Masters of Public Health and a Health Management and has a strong belief in social justice.
