A/Prof Thileepan Naren is an Addiction Medicine Specialist and General Practitioner who works at Western Health and cohealth. He has special interests in addiction medicine, Aboriginal health, custodial health, public health policy, and medical governance.

Research Fellow at the Monash Addiction Research Centre and Hamilton Centre, the Victorian statewide service for people living with mental illness and addiction. My research interests include improving access to evidence-based treatment for opioid dependence and co-occurring conditions, and encompasses implementation trials, co-design, health service partnerships, and workforce development.

Amy McNeilage is a PhD candidate and Research Officer in The University of Sydney’s Medical School with expertise in qualitative methodology. Her research seeks to identify and mitigate harms associated with gabapentinoid use.

Jermaine Sakr is the acting manager for the AOD transition programs at Community Restorative Centre. Stella Stolk is a Senior Research & Policy Fellow with the Advocacy, Research and Policy Unit at Community Restorative Centre. She is also an adjunct fellow at NDARC, UNSW.

Adrian Dunlop has 30+ years’ experience as a drug & alcohol clinician/researcher. He Director and Addiction Medicine Senior Staff Specialist with Hunter New England Local Health District, and Conjoint Professor with the School of Medicine and Public Health, University of Newcastle and a member of the Hunter Medical Research Institute.

Dr Amanda Roxburgh has over 20 years experience in the AOD research sector, with expertise in drug-related harms including mortality and supervised injecting facilities.

Zachary is a PhD student with Monash University and the Burnet Institute. His research focuses on social, geographic and economic factors associated with fatal opioid overdose.
