Raechel Wallace is a proud Wodi Wodi, Wandi Wandian women from the Yuin Nation on the South Coast of NSW. She is the Aboriginal Program Manager at NADA. She has worked in the AOD Sector for over 20 years for both ACCO and NGO including Aboriginal AOD researcher at NDARC.

Michael is a Bardi (Aboriginal) man from the Kimberley region of Western Australia. He is Head of the First Nations Research Program at the Edith Collins Centre. Prior to academia, Michael spent 10 years working in Aboriginal community-controlled health services as an Aboriginal Health Worker and developing health promotion initiatives.

Lawrence Rivera is a PhD student at the Monash Addiction Research Centre (MARC).

Rose holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science at University of Queensland and is currently completing her Honours year. Rose has held various positions in the Queensland Department of Health, including Identified Counsellor and Operational Coordinator. Rose is a passionate advocate for prevention and amplifying First Nations voices.

Joanne Hoareau is a Research Coordinator at Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet and manages the AOD Knowledge Centre project.. She has a background working in the community services sector in advocacy, alcohol and drug use and mental health support as well as library services

Dr Brittain's iwi (nations) are Ngāti Kahungunu and Ngāti Rakaipaaka. She is also Co-Director for Te Toi Arapaki, the Centre for Indigenous Psychologies, at Massey University, and a Clinical Psychologist. Her research and teaching are in Māori and Indigenous psychologies, and she is committed to addressing issues affecting Māori wellbeing.

Joe Coyte is an Aboriginal community‑controlled sector leader with over 25 years’ experience in alcohol and other drug treatment. As Executive Director of The Glen Group, he champions culturally grounded healing, integrating culture, connection, and lived experience to improve outcomes for Aboriginal people and strengthen community‑led models of care.

Laura is driven by the mission to empower people and communities to promote the health of the body and mind. Her degree in health science led Laura to a career in research, with interests in Aboriginal health, child and adolescent health, and addiction recovery.

With a Master in Social Work and Addictive Behaviours, Michelle has worked within the field of Addiction for over fifteen years in a wide variety of roles. Michelle is passionate about helping those navigate the path to recovery and decreasing the stigma and discrimination often experienced by those with addiction.
