Daniel Sherman is a PhD candidate in philosophy at the University of Western Australia. His research examines psychedelic epistemology, interoception, and addiction. Drawing on philosophy of mind and cognitive science, he develops a naturalistic account of how altered states can yield clinically relevant forms of self-knowledge and behavioral change.
