Leanne is an endorsed Nurse Practitioner with more than 25 years specialised experience in viral hepatitis and advanced liver disease. She has extensive experience working with public hospitals and other agencies and is currently working at Harm Reduction WA, which provides a range of services for people who inject drugs.

Dr Colledge-Frisby is a Research Fellow at the National Drug Research Institute where she examines clinical harms among people who inject drugs. She has particular interest in non-viral bacterial infections and venous injury that arise from injecting drug use and improving harm reduction strategies to reduce their prevalence.

Michael Curtis is a Research Associate at Curtin University’s National Drug Research Institute and a Postdoctoral Research Officer at the Burnet Institute. His primary research interests include use of prospective survey data to improve the health and wellbeing of marginalised people, particularly people in prison and people who use drugs.

Daisy Gibbs is an Evaluation Officer at the Burnet. In September 2023 she submitted a PhD which focused upon improving the evidence about the impact of supported accommodation for people released from prison. Her research interests include improving the well-being of vulnerable populations through targeted service delivery which is driven by research evidence and consumer expertise.
