Kate is an Addiction Medicine Specialist and Public Health Physician based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, in Sydney. Kate has a weekly clinic at the Aboriginal Medical Service in Redfern. She was joint Director of the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Indigenous Health and Alcohol.

Scott has been employed by the Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council (SA) Inc since November 1993. Scott's experience in the areas of substance use, misuse and abuse has seen him on nearly every major governmental and non-government committee in Australia over the past 30 years.
In 2017, Scott was the recipient of the APSAD First Peoples Award

Wan Jie (Kate) Tan is from Singapore and currently undertaking her PhD (Clinical Psychology) at the University of Wollongong. Her dissertation research focuses on the cross-cultural utility of mutual-aid groups for recovery from alcohol and other drug use in Asia.

Joanne Bryant is Associate Professor of Sociology in the School of Social Sciences UNSW. She has led research projects focused on young people’s substance use and sexual health, concentrating specifically on marginalised young people, street-involved young people, and Aboriginal young people. She is an Australian Research Council Future Fellow.
