Biography

Jessica is a research fellow in the National Addiction and Mental Health Surveillance Unit (NAMHSU) at Turning Point and an adjunct research fellow at Monash University. She works across a variety of projects in the NAMHSU team, including the AODstats website.

Biography

Ali Cheetham is a research officer at the Monash Addiction Research Centre and Turning Point. Since completing her PhD in 2013 her research has focussed on identifying risk factors for early AOD problems, the impact of stigma on help-seeking, and barriers to treatment for opioid use disorder.

Biography

Dr Roxburgh has a national and emerging international profile relating to her expertise in opioid overdose mortality and has 20 years’ experience in the alcohol and other drug research sector. She has published over 50 scientific publications and given over 60 national and international conference presentations.

Biography

A recipient of a Deakin Burnet Research Partnership Scholarship, Bianca is a second-year PhD. candidate. Her project explores public amenity in areas immediate to drug consumption rooms. Currently, Bianca is undertaking structured observations in the area surrounding the North Richmond Medically Supervised Injecting Room and interviewing stakeholders in the area.

Mark is an Epidemiologist and with experience in the alcohol and other drugs sector, public health surveillance and linked data analysis. Mark is currently the Research Coordinator for the Sydney Medically Supervised Injecting Centre (MSIC).
