Nicole Hewlett is a proud palawa woman from lutruwita (Tasmania) with over 14 years of demonstrated knowledge translation experience working in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander public health around Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), justice, alcohol policy, palliative care and wellbeing. Nicole is currently undertaking a PhD, holds two positions with University of Queensland, and during 2018-2023, was a board member and Treasurer of the National Organisation for Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (NOFASD). At The University of Queensland, Nicole works in the First Nations Cancer and Research Wellbeing Program as well as at the Child Health Research Centre to embed Aboriginal healing-informed, strengths-based and culturally responsive practices into Australia’s revised Guidelines for the Assessment and Diagnosis of FASD. From 2016 – 2021, Nicole was a committee member of the NHMRC Alcohol Working Group, appointed to update Australia’s alcohol drinking guidelines.

Liam is a PhD candidate with the National Centre for Clinical Research on Emerging Drugs and the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre, and Research Officer at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. Liam conducts clinical trials and mixed methods clinical research investigating treatments for methamphetamine use and withdrawal

Currently, Bianca is undertaking structured observations in the area surrounding the North Richmond Medically Supervised Injecting Room and interviewing stakeholders in the area.

Dr Cheneal Puljevic is an ARC DECRA Fellow at the Centre of Research Excellence on Achieving the Tobacco Endgame. Her current research focuses on the drivers and deterrents of illicit tobacco use. Her other research interests include smoking cessation among disadvantaged populations, drug checking, alcohol-fuelled violence and harm reduction.

He is lecturer and researcher at the University of Newcastle (UON) and a UON/HNE Clincal Research Fellow. He is investigator on trials studying dependance and translation research in AOD.
