Biography

Dr Jasmin Grigg PhD MPH BPsych(Hons) is a Research Fellow in Addiction Studies at the Eastern Health Clinical School, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences of Monash University, and Turning Point, Eastern Health. Her research focuses on addictions treatment, women’s health, and novel public health interventions.

Biography

Nathan Harrison is a public health and implementation science student at Flinders University. His PhD work focuses on lung cancer screening, smoking, and stigma. He is also a Senior Research Officer in the National Centre for Education and Training on Addiction (NCETA), working primarily in AOD prevention and early intervention.

Biography

Michelle is a Senior Research Fellow at the Institute for Culture and Society, Western Sydney University. Based in Mparntwe Alice Springs, she has worked for over a decade with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities in Queensland and Northern Territory on traumatic brain injury, remote health workforce and alcohol research. Michelle holds an Australian Research Council DECRA.

Biography

Jimmy is Ngarrindjerri/Arrernte and has worked with Makin' Tracks for the Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council SA for over 15 years. He is a recipient of the APSAD First Peoples award and has a Masters in Indigenous Health (Substance Use) from the University of Sydney. Jimmy is an investigator on two NHMRC/MRFF grants on improving measurement of risky drinking using the Grog App.

Daniel is a PhD candidate, Research Officer, & Education Coordinator based at the University of Sydney and the Edith Collins Centre, Sydney Local Health District. His PhD is exploring the availability and accessibility of opioid agonist treatment pharmacotherapies. Daniel also coordinates statewide professional education for opioid treatment prescribers within NSW.

Adam is an Addiction Medicine Physician and Deputy Director of Department Addiction Medicine at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne as well as being on the Board of Directors at YSAS. He has an interest in pharmacological interventions for alcohol use disorders and medical comorbidity of substance use.
