Dr Nicholas Taylor has worked within the field of alcohol policy research since 2015. Much of his research has focused on evaluating the impact of interventions in nightlife settings. He has also investigated how pricing policies have influenced alcohol consumption in the Northern Territory and youth alcohol consumption trends.

Michaela’s (Ngāti Pūkenga) research explores pathways to equitable healthcare and treatment. She focuses on those who use substances (e.g., alcohol, cannabis, and nicotine) and face systemic disadvantages (i.e., Māori and LGBTQIA+). Her work provides findings that are relevant to providers and families who support that experience substance-related harms.
