Nicola is currently a biostatistician in the Drug Trends program at the National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre at UNSW. She analyses administrative and online data to monitor extra-medical and illicit drug use in Australia to inform government agencies, NGOs and the general public.

Dr Monica Barratt is a drugs-policy researcher at RMIT University and the Executive Director of Bluelight.org. Monica studies digitally facilitated drug trading, novel psychoactive substance trends and markets, drug checking or pill testing, and ways to increase meaningful involvement of people who use drugs in research and policy processes.

Jen is a Research Fellow at the Centre for Clinical Research in Emergency Medicine, and is the national coordinator of the Emerging Drugs Network of Australia (EDNA). EDNA is a prospective toxicosurveillance system of illicit and emerging drugs involved in presentations to sentinel emergency departments across Australia.
