Biography

A/Profs Michael Doyle and Lexine Stapinski are based at the University of Sydney. Since 2016, they have worked in partnership with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities and youth to develop Strong and Deadly Futures, a culturally-inclusive alcohol/drug prevention program for schools.

Biography

Sarah Dowden-Parker is a 2nd Year PhD student at Flinders University, researching youth health messaging to prevent vaping. With a background in education and health literacies, her work supports the national "Escape the Vape" project, supervised by Dr Josh Trigg and led by Professor Billie Bonevski.

Biography

Melissa works for HNELHD Drug and Alcohol Services. Her PhD focused on tobacco treatments for maternal substance use populations and currently overseas an RCT comparing e-cigarettes to nicotine replacement in OAT service-clients. She is a clinical psychologist in training and tobacco treatment specialist with interests in vaping/tobacco and cannabis treatment.

Dr Cheneal Puljevic is an ARC DECRA Senior Research Fellow at the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence on Achieving the Tobacco Endgame at The University of Queensland, and the Queensland Research Lead for The Loop Australia. Her current research focuses on the drivers and deterrents of illicit tobacco use.
