Join us for lunch and a dynamic afternoon symposium exploring the cutting edge of research and clinical practice in methamphetamine use disorder bringing together leading researchers, clinicians, and consumer advocates. International keynote speaker, Professor Didier Jutras-Aswad from the Université de Montréal Canada, will be presenting on their experience conducting a multi-site clinical trial looking at combining contingency management and stimulants to treat methamphetamine use disorder. Session 1, Innovative Pathways: Early-Stage Treatments and Approaches to methamphetamine use disorder, will feature a panel discussion on diverse approaches to contingency management, alongside individual presentations on recent and ongoing randomised controlled trials. Session 2, Building the Evidence Base: Trials and Voices in methamphetamine use disorder research will highlight promising pilot studies, culminating in a panel discussion that centres consumer perspectives on engagement with methamphetamine use disorder research. The afternoon will conclude with a networking event. Whether you're working in research, in the clinic, or in the community, the NCCRED symposium offers a unique opportunity to connect, reflect, and collaborate on the next steps for impactful methamphetamine use disorder treatment and research.
