Biography

Matthew Stevens is a senior research fellow at the University of Adelaide. He is interested in the identification, prevention, and treatment of addictive and substance-use behaviours. His current role at the University of Adelaide School of Biomedicine is focused on improving AOD screening and intervention using the ASSIST.

Biography

Anna McVinish works as a specialist AOD clinician, was the nurse clinical lead for Australia’s first trial of SIOT and subsequently travelled to survey heroin-assisted treatment models internationally as part of a Churchill Fellowship. She also works at MSIC, is passionate about drug checking, harm reduction and healthcare rights.
