Dr Brendan Clifford is a Senior Research Fellow with the National Centre for Clinical Research in Emerging Drugs. Brendan is a clinician researcher who uses interdisciplinary methods to further health equity and enhance access to evidence-based healthcare.

Tariq Isaacs is a Waliwan man from Coonamble and an Engagement Assistant at the Matilda Centre for Research in Mental Health and Substance Use. Tariq has worked in various roles as part of Indigenous based organisations , assisting on projects to improve the health outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.

Clinical Research Lead at NCCRED and Senior Lecturer at UNSW NDARC and SVHS Alcohol and Drug Services, with over 20 years’ experience. Her research focuses on novel treatments for emerging drug use, shaping global clinical guidelines and impacting policy to improve outcomes in addiction medicine and public health.

David Newcombe is an Associate Professor in the School of Population Health, and Deputy Director of the Centre for Addiction Research, at University of Auckland. He has had over 20 years experience working in various clinical and education roles in the addiction sector in both Australia and New Zealand.

Jack Nagle is a peer and addiction treatment professional. In 2014 he founded Real Drug Talk, which seeks to change the perceptions around addiction to reduce and eliminate stigma. Dr Cilla Zhou is the Research & Partnerships Manager at NCCRED, where she supports NCCRED research activities by strengthening consumer collaborations.
