Dr Rhys Ponton is a pharmacist with over twenty-five years experience in clinical practice and research. He has been based at the University of Auckland since 2016, where he conducts research into various aspects of substance use, with a specific interest in the methods of drug consumption, particularly drug injection.

Dr Eu is a GP who has had ongoing experience working with patients who use PIEDs. He has collaborated with numerous individuals and organisations to conduct the PUSH! Study

Dr Katinka van de Ven is a Senior Lecturer at the Centre for Rural Criminology, UNE, and a Visiting Fellow at the Drug Policy Modelling Program, UNSW. She is the Editor-in-Chief of Performance Enhancement & Health and the Director of the Human Enhancement Drugs Network (HEDN).
