Professor Bruce Brew is a physician scientist with a long standing interest in viral neuropathogenesis at both clinical and basic science levels. He is the co-principal investigator on the ADAPT study, a prospective study of the long term consequences of Covid-19 infection. He is the President of the International Society for Neurovirology.

Vicki Lawson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at The University of Melbourne with an interest in understanding the pathogenesis of disease. Her research interests include transmissible neurodegeneration (prion and Parkinson’s disease); virology (HIV-1 and COVID); and cancer.

Sevannah recently graduated from her PhD at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience through the University of Melbourne where she studied the molecular mechanisms underpinning neuronal injury and recovery. She has now joined the Queensland Brain Institute where she is investigating the effects of SARS-CoV-2 on the brain.
