                    Martin’s expertise is in HIV prevention, particularly with gay and bisexual men. He studies trends in sexual behaviour, and conducts social and behavioural research on HIV, sexual health and the use of biomedical prevention methods. For the last three years his team has been assessing the impact of COVID-19 on gay and bisexual men’s behaviour, and now his team is setting up a project to understand community perceptions of and reactions to monkeypox, including willingness to be vaccinated and change behaviour.
