Georgina Boots is junior doctor currently working in Brisbane and pursuing training in general practice with interests in sexual health and women’s health. She obtained a Master of Health Sciences (Sexual Health) and MBBS from the University of Sydney and has worked as a registrar at Sydney Sexual Health Centre.

Biography

Jackie Parsons began working at WWILD Sexual Violence Prevention Association in 2020 as a Victim of Crime case worker. Jackie’s goal is to support people with intellectual disability who have experienced sexual violence through her role of providing case management and support. She works from a person-centred, strengths based framework and aims to incorporate trauma informed care into all aspects of her work. Jackie has experience in domestic and family violence crisis work and supporting people with intellectual disabilities through the criminal justice system. Jackie is involved with supporting parents with intellectual disability through case management and parenting groups, which focuses on building connections with other parents and their children, improving skills and informed decision making and supporting self-advocacy. Jackie is a fierce advocate for fair treatment from police, the courts, child safety and the medical system for people with intellectual disabilities and continues to be involved in QPS training and advocacy.

Dr Cho is a medical officer at the Kirketon Road Centre, a free primary health care service in Kings Cross, Sydney which cares for vulnerable communities. She is the clinical lead for Reproductive Health there. She is undertaking research in reproductive health issues affecting priority populations for FAFPHM training.
