Ya-Chi Ho, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor in Microbial Pathogenesis and Medicine at Yale University, an infectious disease physician in Taiwan, and PhD in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at Johns Hopkins University. Using single-cell multiomics, she works on mechanisms of HIV-1 persistence and HIV-1-induced immune dysfunction for a cure.

Melissa Schulz works as part of the Global Health Team, Kirby Institute UNSW. She provides Laboratory support to a HIV public health intervention project in Papua New Guinea called ACTUP.
Mr Simon Pekon is the in-country project coordinator for a project titled ACTUP - Accelerating the Uptake of HIV Viral Load and Drug Resistance Testing in PNG. He is from PNG and has worked in the field of HIV for 12 years.
