Steven Nigro, PhD, is HIV epidemiologist at Health Protection NSW, NSW Health. He continues to work with academics, community organisations and policymakers that are part of the HIV Prevention Research Implementation Science and Monitoring (PRISM) partnership to ensure outcomes of research are translated into improvements in HIV surveillance in NSW.

Phillip Keen coordinates the NSW HIV Prevention Research Implementation Science and Monitoring Partnership – (PRISM). This project combines policy makers, surveillance officers, HIV community organisations, clinicians, researchers and others to evaluate interventions to reduce HIV stigma, increase HIV prevention uptake among gay and bisexual men, and monitor the NSW HIV Strategy. 

Cherie Power is currently acting Manager, HIV & STI unit, Centre for Population Health, NSW Ministry of Health. She holds a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of NSW. Cherie was the lead author and project manager for the development of the latest HIV Strategy 2021–2025, encompassing prevention, PrEP, testing, treatment and stigma.

Dr Timothy Broady is a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Research in Health, UNSW. His current research interests include addressing stigma and discrimination among communities affected by blood-borne viruses, HIV prevention, and the lived experiences of marginalised groups within society.

Jane Costello is the CEO of Positive Life NSW and previously Research and Program Manager at the Kirby Institute UNSW Sydney working across sexual health, surveillance, evaluation, and research. As a woman living with HIV, she is committed to social justice, human rights and eliminating HIV stigma and discrimination.

Barbara Luisi is the Manager of the Multicultural HIV and Hepatitis Service. With a career in health spanning over 30 years, Barbara has had the opportunity to work in population health on a range Barbara of areas including women’s health, HIV and blood borne viruses, domestic violence and cardiovascular disease. Barbara is passionate about equity in health and improving health outcomes for migrant populations.

Anna McNulty has more than 20 years experience in leadership roles within sexual health clinics in NSW.  She is currently the director of Sydney Sexual Health Centre. SSHC has partnerships to support sexual health and HIV care in Western and Far Western NSW LHDs as well as with Justice Health.

Tim Wark has over 6 years’ experience delivering HIV, sexual health, and LGBTQ health peer education programs in NSW. As Manager, Community Partnerships and Population Programs at, Tim works across a diverse range of health promotion projects aimed at ending HIV for all and improving health equity
