Professor Gilda Tachedjian is a virologist with an interest in antiviral strategies. She is a NHMRC Senior Research Fellow and Heads the Life Sciences Discipline and is co-Head of HIV Elimination at the Burnet Institute. Her laboratory is focused on discovering a new drug class for HIV and understanding the impact of the vaginal microbiota on HIV susceptibility.
