Dr Myra Hamilton is a Senior Research Fellow at the Social Policy Research Centre at the University of New South Wales. Her research program focusses on families’ involvement in managing health and illness, and on improving policy and service provision for families and carers.

Biography

Joël Murray is the Associate Director Policy and Programs at Positive Life NSW and Treasurer of Harm Reduction Victoria. He has an interest in HIV, sexual health, social policy, sex work law reform and drug law reform. He was formally the Senior Policy Officer at Living Positive Victoria. Joël holds an Master of Arts from RMIT University. He has been living with HIV since 2010.

Ines is the Executive Director of the national network of people living with HIV in Timor-Leste, Estrela+. She co-founded Estrela+ in 2009 to ensure people living with HIV were central in any conversations and decisions that affected their lives. She is an experienced advocate, researcher and program manager.

Sarah Hocking has worked for Straight Arrows and Living Positive Victoria for 2.5 years. She implemented and facilitates the very successful Phoenix for Women workshop. She is also a facilitator of PLDI (Positive Leadership Development Institute) and provides social engagement and peer support.
