Dr Banz is a Rural Generalist and Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine with an interest in First Nations Health. She has previously performed research in diabetic retinopathy, HIV vaccines, and dementia care.

Biography

Chris is currently undertaking a PhD at the Burnet Institute, building and applying mathematical models to guide elimination of hepatitis B as a public heath threat. A key focus of this research is investigating efficiency of alternate vaccine storage and delivery mechanisms to enhance timely hepatitis B birth dose coverage.
