Ms Bernie Hobbs is an award-winning science writer and broadcaster. She has worked extensively in television and is a popular radio commentator around the country.

Dr Renae Fomiatti is an Alfred Deakin Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Sociology, in the School of Humanities and Social Science at Deakin University. She is also an Adjunct Research Fellow at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, in the School of Psychology and Public Health at La Trobe University.

Dr Adrian Farrugia is a Research Fellow in the Drugs, Gender and Sexuality Research Program at the Australian Research Centre in Sex, Health and Society, La Trobe University, and is Adjunct Research Fellow at the National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University.

Mr Sione Crawford is CEO of Harm Reduction Victoria. He has worked in peer based blood-borne virus and harm reduction organisations for many years in a number of roles including peer education, community development, policy and advocacy and organisational and programmatic management.

Dr Hester Wilson is a GP and chair of the RACGP GPSI in addiction. She works for South Eastern Sydney Local Health District Drug and Alcohol Service and in general practice. An experienced medical educator, Hester has written widely on general practice and substance use issues.
