Biography

Rosie is the Clinical Nurse Consultant at the Kirketon Road Centre, where she has expanded hepatitis c care, management and treatment to marginalised communities. Rosie works extensively in clinical care, both in outreach and secondary settings, providing primary care to targeted population groups and co-ordinates the clinical research trials.

Dr Heather Valerio obtained her PhD focused on evaluating Australia's progress toward hepatitis C elimination among people who inject drugs from the University of New South Wales. She is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Viral Hepatitis Clinical Research Program at the Kirby Institute.
